School Fete and Open Day

Saturday 16 September, 10am - 3pm

In 2017 our annual school fete will also include an open day where the School will have the classrooms, library and hall open to the public for all to reminisce 90 fabulous years gone by.

This year's festivites will be HUGE: from Questacon in the school hall, to the open iconic Art Deco school building and heritage library, across to the Yerra and the senior oval, which will be filled with all our fete favourites, and down to the Ainslie Arts Centre, the original school building that was opened in 1927 by Prime Minister Stanley Bruce.

For more information please contact:

Fete Day 2017 will be a wonderful event with the whole community coming together to celebrate the School’s birthday whilst enjoying all the wonderful food and fun in a social atmosphere.

Calling our Ainslie School Community!

Don't miss out on being part of Ainslie School's main annual fund raiser! Sign up and give an hour of your time to a stall, pop your name down today to help out and be part of all the fun and frivolity.

To help out, please sign up via our volunteers page.

We also need your donations in the tubs of the School’s foyer of:

  • books for kids and grown-ups
  • toys that are in good condition
  • high quality children’s clothes
  • jars and tea cups for candles and succulents

And we'd love lots cakes and other baked goods, preserves, handmade items, plants, herbs and flowers on the day!
