Kid's Birthday Party | 19 September

Please contact 90th Birthday Coordinator Mel (mel@meltin.net, 0416 191 812) if you'd like to be part of our Kid's 90th Birthday Party.

We'd love help with the round-robin of retro children's party games, decorating the hall for our special assembly, or serving birthday cake to almost 400 students!

This event is on the School's actual 90th Birthday and will be followed at 12pm by a special 90th Birthday assembly and cake cutting.

Fete and Open Day | 16 September

Don't miss out on being part of Ainslie School's main annual fund raiser!

  • Try and pencil in an hour or two to volunteer on one of the many stalls, it’s not only a great feeling of ‘giving back’ but also the perfect social opportunity to meet new people or catch up with old friends.
  • Prefer to be ‘behind the scenes’? Don’t worry, we will also need people to help sort in the lead-up, and set-up / pack-down on the day.
  • Donation tubs are located in the foyer of the School for all of your pre-loved, great quality toys, clothes and books.
  • And we always gratefully accept cakes, slices, muffins, and other sweet treats, preserves, handmade items, and plants, herbs and cut flowers on the day.

Light up Ainslie | 8 September

We'd love some volunteers to bake some delicious goodies to sell at the cake stall on our special Enlighten-style evening.

We are after slices, muffins, cupcakes mini quiches and biscuits that can be served and held on a napkin.

Baked goods can be dropped into the school canteen on Friday 8 September (during or after school) or bring them on the night, between 6:30-8pm (the event finishes at 8.30pm).

Please let Robyn (rcjamesact@hotmail.com) know if you can bake.

Heritage week at the canteen | 7-11 August

During the school's Heritage Week the canteen will be making food from the past. For the entire week the canteen will be selling frogs in a pond, macaroon slice, pigs in a blanket, pikelets with jam and cream and more!

We would love your help to bake something during this week (Monday 7 to Friday 11 August) to support the school and raise some funds for the canteen.

Please get in touch (nova@homemail.com.au) if you can make either Strawberry Jelly Slice or Raspberry Jam Slice to sell during Heritage Week and we will send you the recipe.

Trivia night | 19 May

The  organisers would love some help for our Trivia Night - they will need judges/markers and roaming helpers, AV-IT support, as well as people to help set up and clean up.

If you are not planning to join a table please consider helping out - it's going to be a fun night!
